Megan Jenifer, violinist,violist and educator, is the coordinator of Radiance String Ensembles, and the owner of String Presence Academy Suzuki Violin Studio. A native of the Washington, DC area, Megan began her studies through the DC Youth Orchestra Program under the direction of Lynn McClain. Megan pursued both a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Engineering Technology, and a Master of Business Administration from Hampton University. While at Hampton, Megan helped to create and develop the first, all student-based orchestra at a historically black college/university. She served as the concertmistress of the Hampton University Chamber Orchestra and the Peninsula String Quartet. Megan has been a featured violinist with several artists in the recording and spoken word industry such as The Fuzz Band, Niya Powell, Tifanii from MTV's Making the Band, and Joselyn Spencer. Ms. Jenifer currently teaches violin and viola privately at various locations throughout Hampton Roads. As a registered Suzuki Violin teacher, she received her initial training from Ronda Cole. She currently studies with Jorge Aguirre of the Virginia Symphony. Megan recently self-published her first self-help book entitled, How Ordinary People Attract Extraordinary Wealth! Seven Lessons of Empowerment for the Average Person who Wants MORE!

Gina J.P. Spraggins violinist, composer and arranger is the daughter of educators Bessie J. Jordan and the late Wendell O. Jordan. She is the Mother of one son Clarence Jordan Payne who is ten. She is a member of the Radiance String Quartet and is the String Coach and Assistant Conductor for the Peninsula Youth Symfonia which is a string orchestra that highlights young musicians in the Hampton Roads community. She is director of the Young Life Choir of Abundant Life International Church and the coordinator of the Youth Performing Arts Group which is a community advocacy project that empowers young people through the use of their natural gifts and talents. Also, an author of a new book release as of August 2005 entitled Confronting the Other Woman which has received five star review ratings from readers at Barnes and Noble.com and Amazon.com. Gina holds a B.S. degree from N.S.U. and an M.S. degree from H.U. along with two endorsements in Public School Music and School Guidance Counseling. Currently she is the School Counselor for An Achievable Dream Academy in Newport News Va. She is a Christian who attributes all to God’s glory.

Evalye Lawson, violist, who hails from Atlanta, GA, Graduated from Hampton University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Viola Performance, and a Master of Education During the summer of 2006. Evalye has participated as principal violist in the Hampton University Chamber orchestra and small ensembles.

Donna Taylor, cellist, performs classical and popular chamber music with members of the Radiance String Ensemble, Aida Strings, and Strings and Things  network.  Donna is also a former member of the York River Symphony Orchestra, The Gloucester Courthouse Chamber Orchestra, The Raleigh Symphony Orchestra, and the North Pittsburgh Philharmonic.  Donna is a certified medical coding specialist with a Bachelor of Science in biology and completing a database development certificate in the fall of 2008.
